    So you’ve PRed your Snatch, Clean, Press, and Front Squat all in the last month or so and had a pretty kickass meet at Caffiene and Kilos. WHAT have you been up to? I know you said you wouldn’t be posting your team’s training anymore but you gotta realize anyone reading your blog wants to know how you’re training.

      To be honest with you, I cleaned 182 back in 2011. The same year I snatched 147. I SHOULD HAVE been doing these numbers 3 years ago. I had just moved out on my own. I dropped out of school. I was trying to get this coaching thing going, not knowing that it would blossom into what it has become. Things are different now. I have recently completed my degree at Sac State. I temporarily relocated back home. My crew is organized and happy. I’m not training twice a day anymore (for the record I think training twice a day is best IF your lifestyle and schedule permit). And in general, I’m just way more focused. I need to achieve a few more things in this sport before I eventually just coach and I definitely feel the pressure. Sometimes you just need a good kick in the ass before you start doing what you’re supposed to. Not that I didn’t feel the pressure before. But emotionally, I’m now prepared to deal with it.
